Tove is a bicultural (British/Danish) organisational transformation consultant who has worked in Japan since 1998. She founded Global Perspectives K.K. in 2015 in Japan with her business partner Gavin Dixon. She works across Asia with major global corporations, SMEs, NPOs, Embassies, Chambers of Commerce, and social venture organisations to amplify and accelerate actions for an inclusive and sustainable future.
Her work focuses on transforming company culture to align with responsible, future-fit business strategy and ambitions, and leverages her combination of scientific & agricultural background, business experience, and people development skills. She holds certifications in Business Sustainability Management (Cambridge University) and Organizational Change Consulting (Ashridge-Hult Business School), and a BSc (Hons) in Biological Science (University of Exeter).
Tove served 6 years as an Executive Committee member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ), where she led the Responsible Business Task Force, and is a member of the Management Committee for NPO Refugee Empowerment International, (REI).
Takafumi Osawa has joined the Japanese Ministry of the Environment and was mainly engaged in the issues of nature conservation since 2007. He was also dispatched from the Ministry to Dalhousie University to study issues of climate change for two years while he also worked for Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the national focal point for the Convention on Biological Diversity for another two years. Currently, he works for the Ministry again, being involved in biodiversity mainstreaming in private sectors through various mechanisms, such as the TNFD.
Maggie O’Neal is a Managing Director and Global Head of Sustainable Investing Research. Prior to moving to ESG Research, Maggie covered Basic Industries/Industrials and was named in the top three of Institutional Investor European Fixed Income Research team for her coverage of Basic Materials and Industrials from 2016-2023. She co-developed Barclays’ approach to ESG Research and assumed her current role in 2022. Maggie joined Barclays in 2015; she has 15 years of experience in research, having previously worked at Deutsche Bank. Maggie studied at UCLA, Sciences Po Paris and King’s College London for undergraduate and holds an MSc from London School of Economics.
Harumichi is the Biodiversity / Nature Lead as well as a Senior General Manager of the Sustainability Management Division at Suntory Holdings, a leading global food and beverage company based in Japan. His portfolio focuses on advancing the Suntory Group's global water and food security agenda, including watershed conservation and regenerative agriculture. He leads initiatives in collaboration with international nature and water-related organisations such as SBTN (Science Based Targets Network) TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures) and the Alliance for Water Stewardship.
Up until 2020, Harumichi was Principal Researcher at Suntory’s Institute for Water Science where he oversaw the development of critical technologies necessary for the global expansion of water resource conservation.
Dr Sam Sinclair is a co-founder and director of Biodiversify, a conservation consultancy with a goal of helping businesses act strategically for nature. Biodiversify is dedicated to educating, empowering, and supporting clients to tackle biodiversity loss through their operations and supply chains. Drawing on a decade of conservation experience across Africa and a PhD from Imperial College London focused on the social factors influencing biodiversity decisions, Sam has been instrumental in positioning Biodiversify at the forefront of biodiversity sustainability. Under his direction, Biodiversify has achieved significant milestones, such as authoring the first-ever guidance for creating private sector biodiversity strategies, supporting the UK government in piloting key aspects of the Environment Act, and forging partnerships with pioneering companies such as Kering, Tetra Pak and Amazon.
